Quick question for anyone else out there with experience in repairing PS2s. I am wondering what controls the Cd brake, spin down function in a V4 PS2. If you watch a disc in a good PS2, it will stop spinning almost immediately after you hit reset or turn it off. I have one that keeps spinning until stopped on it's own. Along the same lines, if you tap reset then eject, it will just sit there with a flashing eject light until the CD stops on it's own then it ejects. I know it's not the BA chip that controls this, as I've replaced that, nor is it in the CD tray itself, as that's been replaced. I would appreciate any other ideas.
