CC 1.2 + PS1 backup problems

Everything else boots fine, flash discs, ps2 dvd, ps1 originals but seems like it doesnt recognize my ps1 backup at all... it doesnt change to ps1 mode, disc just keeps spinning fast.... any ideas... checked wires multiple times and those are fine.

boots those when using bootmanager... ive tried firmwares from 1.8 to 2.4

1) Did you try without BootManager at all?

2) Does the system read PS2 CD games? If not, your laser might not like burned CDs and might need adjusting.

check to see if the sx wire or woteva its called on a crystal is installed

I had the same problem with a cc1.1 installed into a v14. Played all ps2 games(dvd & cd) but refused to play ps1 games. Tried everything to fix this but failed. Took the chip out and replaced with modbo745 and everything worked. Put cc1.1 back into a v12 and everything played perfectly.
My conclusion is that there is a bug with cc1.1 on certain types of v14 boards ???
