Can't save on Madden 2004.....

I can save during a game but after I complete a game I can't save. The screen just freezes. I have a magic 3.1 V7. I am playing my orgingal disk. I also check the memory card and made sure it has plenty of free space but still won't save. Any input will grately be appreciated.

I figured out the problem. I deleted madden 03 files from the memory card then I was able to save madden 04 files with no problems.
