yes but it'll take some moddifications u need to remove the usb sticker and shave down wher ethe reset and eject goes

Finally someone other than me says something to ****ing swappers! If you dont have the skills to mod a pS2, or to fix one, you have no business beeing in this buisiness. And if you do break one with your hands, take the hit! You broke it not walmart!

i posted this before...but i thought it is good to spread the word

a friend of mine did this to futureshop in montreal, quebec (he been doing this swap thing for a while now..he always tells me how easy it was and how stupid those people at the return counter are)..got busted a week ago ...here is the story he told me......

at futureshop return counter..he told them the ps2 wasn't opened at all and he got it as a gift and he wanted a refund...as usual they asked for the recipt...then they ask the guy from the game dep. however the sale from the game department still opened up the "UNOPENED" ps2 and checked the console(both stickers....the warrentee and the serial)..the sales then made another phone call and another guy came who told my friend he is the store manager and said to my friend if it is ok to talk inside
(by now my friend got worried because this had never happened before according to my friend)...my friend followed him to an office
they then hooked up the ps2 and tested infront of my friend...and to my friend's "suprise" the ps2 is not working(black screen). my fiend was acting all mad and said how could you guys sell defect ps2 to people and thank god he returned this ps2 before he opened it otherwise they(the futureshop guys) might blame him for it...

the manager said to my friend that he suspect the ps2 has been switched because the serial sticker and the warrentee sticker appear removed and reattached and also he noticed a dusty fan. he then asked him again if he had opened the ps2 and said there has been many swap attempt ever since the new 50001 ps2 came put and now they(futureshop)has new policy to check every returned ps2/xbox very carefully.......my friend said "no" again to his question... and my friend suggested that maybe someone had returned this ps2 before him and that person maybe to blame. the manager told him once a ps2/xbox is opened it is never put back to the storage room and sold brand new...it is always tested by the futureshop tech and sold as open box with 10-20$ discount. since this ps2 was never opended this could not have happened(they said how can the fan get this dusty if it is brand new and never opened). they then ask my friend who had bought this "gift" for him..because they want to talk to the buyer (if you live in canada then you know everytime you buy some thing like a ps2 or xbox they ask for ur phone number and to creat a account..and it does not matter if you pay cash or not...they still want you to creat an account)... the manager then left the room and came back 5 minutes later told my friend they need to make a copy of the reciept and ask my friend if he want to return this ps2 he will need to get the buyer to come with him because they have some more questions for that person.(they tried to call the # on the account from the reciept but no one picked up the phone...).

they even want to take down my friend's name and asked for a piece of ID.

now i guess my friend will think twice before he does this swap trick

coudl have bought one of those hot v9/v19 cases hehe i bought one for a friend had to change the sticker by the usb ports and shave down the palce where the ejet and reset go
