Can V4 (400B len) read DVD-RW?

As title. Anyone tried before? (It is quite risky to burn games with DVD-r as it costs quite a lot if fail in the middle).

BTW, I read through this board and found that only V5 len can natively read DVD-RW? What version of len it would be? 400C?

There has been a report of a 400B lens reading DVD-RW. Why don't you try? the odds are against it.

Only v5 and up can read DVD-RW.

I have a v4 before and don't work with DVD-RW at all.

i'd be super pleased if my ps2 could even read cd-rw's, at least then watching DivX's on the thing doesn't = wastage

Actually tried and fail. But as I use medium quality DVD-RW so I am not sure if this is media problem. Seems it is not related but the lens itself can't handle it....
