Hi, I have a v9 that couldn't load, but was able to read.
the lens scans the disc and displays the disk type in the browser screen.
then it can't load, all formats and media (ps2, psone, dvd, cd).

    Things tried:-
    - remove mod.
    - check all fuses.
    - change LA58

    Pls Advice.. help needed

Laser issue. Your console is able to authenticate the discs fine (no RSOD), but then cannot play the title in a reasonable period of time, so defaults to the browser.

Typically a cleaning, and a turn counterclockwise of the white cog in the drive bay by a couple notches, fixes this up for me, assuming the coils are still good. You might even drop the ohms to the pots by a hundred or so.

    Good luck to ya.

    Thanx for the reply.

Ok. this is what i did...
i did the laser adjustments by 8 clicks (2 clicks per try).
    8 clicks counterclockwise and clockwise.
Still the same... Reads the disk type.. (display it in the browser/manager)
*The lens is ok. tested on another set.*

took a working set's mech+lens to change over.
    Test result - failed.

    Pls Advice.. help needed
    Thanx in advance..
