No you cant. You need Magic V 50K6 for v10 ps2s.
That is what I thought but China magic claims you can use the 50k on the V10 - have not checked this but this is what people keep saying!
i don't see where they claim to say 50k chips work on it but they do show in the diagram a 5k6 chip in their v10 diagram

even on magics site it shows a magic v 5k6 on a v10
That is what I get for trusting people and not checking for myself... on a certain other forum NETMECH has been claiming to all that will listen, that the 50K will work on the V10....
Well I installed a Magic 50k on a v10, as expected, all I get is a RSOD on all PS2 Backups. This is on a 50001 console datecode 3D I do not have a 50K6 to try as a direct replacement.
Which diagrams is NETMECH using? IS he using the 50k6's? I have a v10 here with the chip still installed and will boot NO backups at all. Waiting on a DMS3 v9. Terry at foundmy has also confirmed that the Magic 50k Will not work on v10's
does the Magic V 50K6 work on v9's? cause im not 100% sure what version i have, it is either a 9 or a 10.
