Does anybody still have a copy of the Jap Utility Disc either v1.0 or v1.1 ?

I have a 1000 series model, and it was given to me without the disc or the original memory card that came with it. I don't really mind wether it's a backup or whatever, and I would be more than happy to pay you whatever the cost is for it.

I have requested this before and people have offered to help me out, but it never actually came to anything.

Anyone ????

If that's the case, why not just buy the new DVD Remote with the lastest JAP drivers on it? It would save you a lot of hassles.

The hack really doesn't work as well as it used to.

Do you know where I can get one of those Remotes from ?

That would most probably be a whole lot easier actually.

yeah, i'd just be ripping you off because this may not work as good as those, no remote support!

Well I think even a backup would work, as I happen to know that you can copy the drivers from a backup copy of the disc if you're using the Origa mod, which I currently have.

I'm still interested in those DVD Remotes, simply out of curiosity though, I'm thinking somewhere like Lik Sang would be the way to go on that, right ?

I posted how to do it with Origa on www.fileforums.com

... except that it's no longer there as they moved servers.

Anyway I could boot a backup of the Utility Disk with Action Replay or DVD Region X.

I forget whether I could do it with the UK DVD Region X; but I found a way of using a backup JAP AR that I had by booting the UK original DVD Region X, then the Jap AR behind that then the whatever behind that.

But I think the Jap Utility Disk backup worked off the UK DVD Region X.
