can anyone tell me what firmware is on this Messiah2?

iv got this Messiah2 chip and was goign to install it into a version 7 PS2. should it work ok? or is the bios to old? do i need to cut the back of the pcb?

is there any wat to tell from the code on the front of the chip what firmware it is from the list below?

messiah2 v1.08 goes up to v5 only

messiah2 v1.30 goes up to v7 (works on version 9 but not properly)

messiah2 v1.33b does all versions up to v10

messiah2 v2.02 does same as v1.33b but uses less wires and has green screen removal for dvd playbac
