More Messiah 2 confusion, I'm afraid.
OK, I took the machine apart, and got the following codes off the bios chip:
D 630 050 S48
B40 050
The motherboard is a GH-015.
The machine is an NTSC-J, SCPH-30007R.
Does this mean that it's an earlier, 050 bios, and therefore affected by the 'v6' compatibilty issue that's just surfaced?
Are there any known issues with the NTSC-J 050 bios and Messiah 2 functionality?
Someone please, please tell me it's going to work with a Messiah 2 pro chip...
Bueller? Bueller?
Don't want to have to use a Magic 3, as I've heard nothing but bad press on them.
Again, many thianks in advance to anyone who can help me out on this one.
Regards,
Will.

Hi Will,
I'm also having a SCPH-30007R Taiwan console. Do you
have any update on your question yet?
Thanks,
Adrian

I don't see why it wouldn't work. The latest messiah 2 pro works fine on my 37000 (ocean blue).
But make sure u get a real messiah 2

I had installed Messiah 2 Pro in 5 V5 NTSC/J 30006R console
including mine, with 050 bios & 015 board.
All work great, so it shouldn't be a problem in your case.
