Got a v7 machine with a blown ps14. I searched the board and found out that I can replace it with the regular glass fuse. But I still have some questions about which fuse I sould get.

    1. What is the difference between fast blow and slow blow? which one should I get to replace the ps14?

    2. Does it matter what voltage the fuse is? I know it should be 2amp, but what about the voltage? I a lot of the 2amp at my local shop says its 250v, will this be too high for ps2?

    Any help & comment appreciated.

    Here is the update.

I just went out to my local eletronic shop and pick up some fuse. The one I used to replace ps14 is called "PICO FUSE FAST 2A". It looks just like a resistor, quite small, so placement is not a issue, and it works like a charm.

hope this is good info for people need to replace a fuse and not able to get one from other PS2.
