The pin (17) got too hot and it broke on me, what can I do to fix this? I can see a tiny piece of metal on but it doesn't seem to want to stick to anything. I have another v9 board, but desoldering and resoldering a new chip seems like a lot of trouble too. Help!

Also, is there any other way to do a Romeo mod thats a bit easier, those pins are a bitch to bend up.

Actually I was able to solder to the little nub of metal that was still hanging off (thank god for flux) and then I crazy glued and then hot glued the wire down and it seems fine. I've also taken the time to use my dead ps2 board for some romeo mod practice before I do my next one. lol.
