botched modchip install ?

I recently installed a Duo2 GT in my PS2 V1 (GH005 board). It is my first time doing a mod chip install and I havent soldered anything in years so chances are I messed up something because when I turn it on the Eject button does not light up or eject. The Reset button just lights up and the screen is blank. The LED for the chip lights up and stays on. Do you have any idea what might be wrong and how I can fix it ? If it is a complicated fix, what is a good reasonably priced, reliable place/person to send it to fix it ?

It's probably the way you put it bac togethor. you may have forgotten to attach a cable. Like the orange cable that attaches to the mobo thats what usually fixes that problem i had the same problem.

Hmmmm I'll check that. I was thinking of opening back up tomorrow and checking to make sure I didnt bridge anything. I'll double check cables then.
Someone on another forum thinks I might have messed up a B.A. chip :cry:

also check with a magnifying glass around all the areas you soldered, its easy for splash solder on the board causing a short. wouldnt do any harm to check the fuses as well.
