    Hi, would booting up a backup ps2 game with a Magic 2 would be like playing an original ps2 game? Because i know for psx games, u need to hold reset to make it read Psx games, do i have to do anythign special to make a ps2 game/backup load?

    you need to press an extra reset when playing ps2 games...

    if ps2 game is already in the tray.. power on... ..... press reset again.. and it should play....

    if not.. open tray....put game in... and press reset....

    If the last game you played was PS1 and you now want to play PS2, you must first put the PS2 into STANDBY (Red light). Then if the disk is in tap RESET or if the disk is not in press EJECT, put the disk in and tap RESET to boot.

    Yes, i do that, and then i get the red screen sayin to put in a Ps2 or Psx game.
