Boot PS1 Games but no PS2 Backups

I installed a messiah in a v4 Ps2, and now i can play ps1 originals, backups games, ps2 originals games and video, but canÂ´t do the same with ps2 backups, nor in cd nor in dvdr.

i even short the wires to <10 cm in all of them.

it's possible this happen because i use the same wires to A-I and M-W and reset, scex, ground, and 3.3V. i read somewhere that the wires for this 4 poinst should be different, is it correct?

or it's another problem.

check your cd dvd and bios points wats do u mean u used the same wire?

i use a multimeter and they are not bridge.

when i say the same wire, it's the same kind of wire a thin one because i read somewhere that maybe the wire should be thicker, in this 4 points, correct????

what happens it's that the ps2 go to red screen after i put a ps2 game, no difference if it's cd or dvd acts the same, telling me to put a ps1, ps2 game.

well use a thicker wire for ground power if no thicker wire is avalible double or triple the regular wire

maybe a silly question but,

to boot ps1 backups there's no need this point GRND to be right also????

it's only to this point you consider to have thicker wire or to reset, 3.3V, or scex too??

use it for ground and 3.3v

I am sure its not a wire problem, but thicker wire on the power and ground is a good idea. My guess is that there is a wire not on the right point somewhere. It only takes one. I have done hundreds of systems and every now and then I get a brain fade and miss a point by one and I have already spent hours looking for it and finally managed to find it in every case. Just keep looking.

check on the bios and cd dvd contoller also are u soldering to the vias? or pins on the cd dvd controller?
