Boot ps1 backup with messiah 2

Hello guys ,

can u please tell me how can I boot my ps1 backuped games on my ps2 modded with the messiah 2 modchip ??

I do NOT have any prodlem to boot my ps2 backuped games or original games or dvd's.
I have just problem with my ps1 backuped games.

What I do is :

when my ps2 is turned off , I turne it on pushing the red button down for few seconds until the blue light comes on . After the blu light is on , I leave the red button. Then I insete the ps1 backuped game. It appears the ps1 logo , the cd start spinning but after few seconds hang up. The screen stays on the ps1 logo and the cd does not spin anymore . I was thiking , to boot my ps1backup , do I need to do the swap disk method ??

Instead of inserting directly the ps1 backupesd game ,insert first the gameshark cd or another swap cd ??

Can u help me with this please ??

thats the right way to boot ps1 for the messiah 2, sounds as tho your laser may need a tweek unless u r usin cheap cd's. try copying the disc at 2x & see if it'll boot all the way, do ur dvd's boot direct or due u have to go from browser screen ?

its very possible your laser like bodger2uk stated, or yes poor media. But also consider that maybe you have burnt the disc incorrectly. If your getting to the PSX logo you know the chip is good and installed correctly.

Can u please tell me how do I burn ps1 images with nero or alcohol ??
