Boot Manager for CC Ver. 0.1.5?

Hi there,

I have one of the latest PS2 (7004-CB) V12 PAL with a Crystal Chip installed, version 0.1.4. I used the hacked version which allows booting of imports, I´m not keen on running pirated copies, though.

The chip itself works well for gaming, but I have problems with booting DVDs. Region free works, but the RGB fix does not. I still have this greenish picture, which means that the output is component instead of RGB. Maybe the DVD Player software is to new or whatever.

The Crystal Chips forums says something about some trouble fixed in a v0.1.5 version of Boot Manager, but their link on the main page is dead.

Any ideas if this version is out and where to get it?

It's not out yet. We're all patiently awaiting that damn thing though. It's been a while since their last update but they're rewriting the BM from the ground up so maybe your problems will be solved when it is released. The top thread on this link is the onee to watch for updates.

btw: could it be you mean the bootmanager pack 1.5? this is just a user-compilation of elf's which can be installed as applications in the cc bm.

Thanks for letting me know... I was just concerned that development might have stalled. I don´t have to rely on the DVD thing for now because I have a fully featured DVD player which is region free but I was going to take the PS2 with me on holiday in august...
