    what the hell my ps2 will read the blue ps2 disks but nothing else not even cd music what gives???

    Did you recently mod your ps2? More input needed. How did the problem start etc....

    fitted dms3 and it worked but games froze whilst i was playing and then I took the chip out to redo the installation and hasnt worked since i have checked for bridges but there arnt any and ive fitted new LA and laser but still wont read dvds ??? and checked fuses all alright

    with dvds it spins about 3 revs then stops then again 3 revs then stops does this about 6 times then spins slowly for about 20 seconds then speeds up for about 10 seconds then stops and says disk read errors hope this helps to give you an idea whats wrong

    check the via's on the back. maybe you lifted one just enough to get no contact.

    try adjusting the pots on your lasers, could be just that the laser is crapping out on you.

    be very careful when adjusting the pots
