About LinkBacksWell I thought I've broken my V9 PS2 one day by lifting up the bios legs.Wouldn't turn off with reset only through the back power switch. I try it a month later and it turns on and work perfectly like nothing is wrong except that the blue eject light is always on. But the thing is everything works fine ejecting, booting, everything.
Could the lifted bios legs have casued this? So is there anything I should be concerned about if it works perfectly?

ahahah, that's pretty unbelievable. Well I don't know how it coudl possibly work without full bios chip connected to the board. But if you ask, it's most likely the problem....

02-16-2005,08:45 PMWell the leg that was lifted was the one next to G or "F" on other chips. What does that leg do? I have a Matrix Infinity so that leg does not need to be soldered.

02-16-2005,10:20 PMYeah, on standby it's still on, the reset light still works normally with red and green. I'll leave it off for a while and see if it fixes itself again.
