blinking green light w/duo 3 in two ps2's

I have some Duo3's (crap) that I've been trying to install. One is a v4 gap, the other is a v5/6. In both the PS2's, the red standby light comes on, you press the button, and the green light comes on and starts blinking. This is happening in both PS2's with different chips and everything. What point/area should I be looking to try and fix this type of problem?

Well I took the duo3 out of the v5, and it boots up fine once or twice,. then it starts with the blinking green light. Any idea what areas to look in for something like that??

I have the same issue in a chip I installed last night on a V4 gap. I have no idea but would like someone to help. I have successfully installed DUO3's on V7's before and also 1 V14. This was my first V4.

Please help.

Check for soldersplatt it´s nearly always a little soldersplatt that makes crazy thing

Took out the chips, cleaned them up and they're waiting crystal chips now. Stupid duo's.
