Blank screen and no audio GH-013 (happened out of the blue no mod chip install)

Hi all

I have a PS2 with pcb marked up GH-013 so the fuse diagrams don't quite match up but I have the blank screen of death. Everything else seems to be functioning (how well I don't know)

I checked the fuses and found PS9 open circuit (it's the supply to the 8v regulator PS7 on some other boards) I've checked the regulator and the output side for shorts and all appears fine. I've replaced the fuse and still a blank screen (the fuse is still ok though)

Any ideas

Sorted!!!

I found a dual 22r resistor pack near to the controller connector had dry joints. (Marked 220). Resoldered these and hey presto.

Just need to sort the disc read errors for dvd films now.

But thats another thread.
