Because you have not done the NTSC/PAL Colour Fix on the PS2 and your PAL TV is not capable of resolving NTSC colour (PAL only TV).
The Colour Fix MIGHT do the job and give you colour IF your PAL TV can at lease resolve 60Hz frame rate.
thanks, The color fix is the same in messiah 2 and in dms3?
yhea the color fix is in the messiah 2 installation pdf
Thanks a lot. I dont know why dont apparear the color fix point in dms3 install diagrams.
They may have other things on their mind!Originally posted by esttilo

just a FYI, the colour fix via for the v4 gap isn't there on my ps2, so I guess it may not be on some other ps2s.

umm i'll have to check my v4 gap to see if it's there maybe it's only of non gap models
Then you do the color switch a mod where you solder the 3.3 v, and the gnd to a 3 pole switch. NTSC goes on the 1st pole, 2nd pole is not soldered, and you solder the 3rd pole for pal. I hope this helps. You mount it where you want it and enjoy.Originally posted by Gazdaman
