Black screen GH007 –
I am sure everybody is getting sick and tired these questions by now, but here goes...
I got a V3 GH007 for free from a friend who busted it up during a NEO 4 install. He's used the 'non-expert' installation piccys, so the bios chip underneath the board is clean.
I've reconnected the wires 21 and 33 and checked for bridges practically everywhere.
I've checked the fuses I can find, but it seems that there should be more fuses on this board than I can find. I find only 5 plus the two white ones and they are all OK.
The problem consists in getting only a black screen when powering up. The power and eject buttons function as normal, and the drive seems to spin the CD/DVD when inserted. All the ribbon cables are OK
Any suggestions? Does anybody have GH007 fuse diagrams? Any fuses I obviously can have missed?
Thanks for reading this far!
I forgot to mention: The NEO 4 is out and gone, and I'm trying to get life into the machine before installing anything else. I've also replaced the cap at the scex point underneath.
WHAT THE HELL YOUR TALKING
Do you have fix the track cut from neo 4 ?????
If its all looks okay check for solder balls/blobs - ps you may need x8 magnifier!!!
If fuses cables etc then it is more than likely a short somewhere.
