First off I know clones are awful, but I got one anyway. After installing it into my v6, when I turn the ps2 on, the screen flickers briefly, but nothing happens. I put a disc in and it sounds like it's reading, but nothing happens, no sound, no picture. I've checked all the points, and they all look solid, any suggestions? I know this problem arises with bad connections on the dvd points (Q,T,U,V,R and W) but they look good.

if its a black screen then chances are good there's a short around the bios area.
also check the fuses in case you've blown one.

first thing to do when you have problem with installation is to BLAME THE CLONE CHIP THAT IS CRAPPY!!!

I've installed and sold more the 5000 pcs of this crappy chip (all version of modbos) and i got to tell you that this crappy chip is one of the best chip there is.

It's not lesser then the infinity or crystal, accept that it can't be upgrade (so what??).
