    guys i,ve searched the forum and read a bit about bios clips

    if you get one for the magic 2 or 3 does that mean you do not have to solder to the bios on a v7

    a confused guy

    its just that i,m sound with all the other soldering points excepts these little bastards as i,m blind as a bat (hee hee)

    well if its a clip of course you dont have to solder but you still need to solder for 5v gnd reset scex wire etc..

    You don't have to solder with the bios clip, but there's mixed reports on how well the bios clip fits/works. Some people just end up soldering the wires to the bios legs because they said the clip didn't fit all too great.

    People who solder to bios, they don't know to use a clip kit !

    It works well for me but you must know that the first time I cliped the kit on bios it goes out alone even I listened the noise "CLICK" for good installation.
    But after 2 or 3 times it works well ! You have to press very heavy and not move the clip during wiring everything or it will go out !
    Test immediatly with the tester included that you have good contact to the bios.

    Mine works fine and it never go out again
    I like it I made only 12 wires !

    If you put the clip right it will not go out, be sure of that !!!

    They have the MAGIC 3.1 so don't hesitate buy this because you can install it in many PS2 versions !
