listen dude, the dms3 / messiah 2 got you beat. and remember, just like ps1, if the games come out with modchip protection, us folk who like to copy games will just apply patches to make them work. Plus you got a big ugly z on our ps2. Also, since you already bought the swap magics if you have the case, that means your gonna have to buy them again to fix the games that they couldnt get right. Messiah 2 seems pretty good, and DMS3 upgrades. Case Closed. Modchips 1 - Flip Top Case 0

DMS3 seems the best way to go, and if it lives to the hype and you get it installed professionally, nice clean job, your playstation would last for a long time.,plus i have a feeling that DMS3 + HDD (when/if it comes out) will be unstopable (games off HDD anyone?)

I never was a fan of swap trick. Sure it's cool when the system just got released and when there is no mod chip available, but other than that, I prefer a more professional solution. And I don't know if I'm alone to think that swaping must not be really healthy for PS2 motor... Anyway, you are free to use the booting method you want, but a post like that will just be the host for a flame war IMO. The ''I will be laughing when games start comming out with anti-mod protection'' attitude is just my confirmation. But what do I know? I'm just a Canadian
