What do you people think of gas powered soldering irons,btw? They tend to be more expensive and you probably neeed to refill the gas far too often but portability for certain situations would be a big plus.
For a butane soldering iron, you would need to be really careful where your exaust is pointing. It could melt something.
I love my Antex mini soldering iron.
