best premodded deal

Hi there...

I'm new to this, so please bear with me...

I wanted to mod my PS2, but I really suck at soldering and my PS2 is getting pretty old (it's a V4 - GT3 edition)... Hours and hours of GT3, GTA3 and GTA Vice City have taken their toll...

So I decided it's time to buy a new PS2, and a premodded one is the way to go...

What's the best place / site (most reliable, reasonable price) to buy a premodded PS2 (with Magic 3.1) ?

I've checked modchip.ca and $399 sounds pretty steep to me...

Any suggestions?

I put Messaih 2 pro in my premods...muuuuch better chip.

Go for a messiah 2, it's well worth it. Visit my website while your at it

could you explain how much better messiah is?
what's the major difference?
I've seen quite a few dealers here saying messiah is better, but so far those I know with magic correctly installed seem to be happy too.

30$ is the major difference between them. and if you want a magic 3.1 premod with 3 months warrenty for 275$ PM email or aim me.

magic 3.1 tends to not play some rips and has heat issues...which can be fixed with some heatsink tape, but it still likes to run pretty hot. It is cheap, but I've heard too many nightmare stories about magic 3.1 chips suddenly deciding to just not work anymore. Never heard a complaint from a Messiah 2 Pro owner though. I love mine

I've seen some complains about messiah 2, and I dont really see a lot of complains about magic 3.1 yet. any way, I'll see when I get my ps2 modded.
