Best modchip for a pre-modded PStwo

I am total new in the PS field but I want to buy a pre-modded PStwo.
So the question here is: What chip?
I would like to have as many features as possible plus a long lifetime of my unit...
(lets assume money is not the problem here... lol)

Any advice is appreciated. ^^

Before someone gets mad at you and tells you to search the forums I'm gonna go ahead and say the Matrix Infinity mod chip is prolly your best bet and maybe a Magic V kx+ chip if your looking to spend alot less money. you should also install a laser fix. There are a few to choose from .... I'm also a "n00b" and am still reading about the fixes. which is hard as there are so many and the info is scattered all over the forum.

Ill go for a crystal chip or magic v kx+

I did a magic v kx+ and I used the first someone fix (1 resistor) and the pstwo is still working well.

Any problems reading any kind of media with that fix?

I use Matrix Infinity, and Summ0ne's and a PIC for the laser, no problems at all so far.

Allways use good quality media (Mitsubishi and Ritek dye-any manufacturer are both good, and I have heard good things about Taiyo Yuden but never used any) and you should be fine

I always burn TY's .. Sadly not all my friends do .. I was just wondering since i think i read that if you use certain resistors with the summ0ne's fix you would limit yourself to media types. Iduno i just read the entire 30 pages of the summ0ne's fix post and my head hurts!! :cry: :wow: :nana: :sleep:

I would buy the Crystal Chip or the Matrix Infinity.

Tell your friends it will only work with TY, Ritek, or CMC/MCM, you will be doing them a favour by getting them to use good media, better for the laser!!!

Believe i me i have told them many times. But most people i know insist on the cheapest media they can find! :( ... What kind of resistors to use to get it to work with the most media possible is the question i need to answer hehe.. The SubZero Fix says it will support more media but i cant find it anywhere. :bigevil:

Cant answer that one, I do Summ0nes, and if crap media can't be used it cant be used!

I do warn people in advance, if they want to use crap media they can get a chip elsewhere, same if they want a crap chip.
