I haven't checked the scene in a while for a year or more. I have my own solution for my v4. This is for someone else

I need something that is decent that will work, few wires, no fancy DVDmultiregion stuff

Then I would say the 17 wire DUO would suit the best. Good reliable game booting. Good price - easy to install.
