I found somewhere to buy a chip called:
Matrix MXL 2 USA

Thats just the same chip you guys are talking about right? Will it work on my PAL console?

yeah thats the one but you need the PAL version!!

try www.baldbouncer.co.uk if you are in uk. very reliable and fast service.

i would prob go for a duo tho - much cheaper and just as reliable.

Just so I know I have a ps2 that will work with it, what version do I have?

My model number on the back of the ps2 is:

I'll probably go with the Matrix MXL 2 but whats the Magic V chip like? Its alot cheaper than the Matrix but seems to be pretty good.
