Best Compatiable Chip for V12?

Hi

i have a v12, and i want to get it modded. i'm thinking of getting a dms4 pro with summon's fix. has anyone try this? can anyone confirm if this is working good ? or any suggestion on modchip and fixes.

Best compatible chip, well I guess that depends do you like DVD9 games?? lol although matrix infinity is also supporting them now, which is good!

I have heard rumors about the DMS4 Pro that they run hot, and never mind the fact that the V12 PSTwo doesn't have the HDD capability(it does with a fairly major mod)... I have done the DMS4 Pro in the V12 and it does work, but i had problems with the O wire, you can't run it along the other CDVD wires, i had to run it seperatly... Others may have more expeirience with this chip on this console, but that was the problem i had...

Personally i preffer the Crystal, or the Matix infinity, and i have heard that the Magic is good as well...

but i really want to run GT4 and DVD+R DL Backup also? does the matrix infinity support that?

A future Infinity update is said to support it. I would wait for that (I have personal feelings against any and all D-M-S).

:) i'll wait for a better chip then. just want my v12 to live a little longer. :)

If you want a great chip then get a infinity. The 1.40 release should be out soon.

I had the same problem as you when i got my Slim ps2 about 3 weeks ago. but i finily decided to go with the Matrix Infinity.

i installed a dms4 pro in my pstwo..the o wire created no problems whatsoever for me
not a big fan of the dms team for their history and shit... but the chip works fine for me..
bootrate is %100, not much heat issue, and the new toxic os (0.3) is actually pretty decent for v12..

same here ive been waiting for about 4 or 5 months now? ive gotten a matrix infinity
