Balck Screen using DMS3 v2.0

Hi,
I got a DMS3 v1 and installed it, it produced a black screen, I thought it was the chip so I replaced it for a DMS3 v2.0. I installed that and the same thing happened. I know there is something wrong with my install. I am pretty sure its the power wire as I accidently desoldered all the solder of the component that is connected to the power wire. So I tried the alt point and still no luck. I tryed to get solder on that desoldered component but it doesnt stick, is there any special solder I can use to make the solder stick to the component? Can I solder to the other side of the component? What are my options?
