I am trying to back-up one of my games, Xenosaga 1, and well, when I use "DVD Decrypter", It expands the image to 7,980MB (7 GB), and as we all know, a DVD is only 4.7GB. Now,I don't know much about multi-layer DVD's, but can I take a regular Memorex DVD, and burn multi-layer image to it? Is this game even Multi-layer? Any suggestions?

Even weirder... when I put the original in the DVD drive, and view the properties, it is only a 3.95GB DVD.

    Right.

DVD + or - Rs hold 4.7GB (DVD5). DVD9 are dual-layer discs that hold about 9GB. You'd have to burn it onto a dual-layer DVD..but it doesn't work quite that simply. You have to flatten the ISO or patch it - I've never done it so I can't give good advice as how to do that. Check the backup forums.
