ba chips and dvd drive

I replaced a ba666 on a playstation the eject features are now functioning properly, however the dvd/cd drive no longer spins the discs. Is there any thing close to that BA chip I might have burned out that would have caused the drive to stop spinning ?

are those the same or different than the ones labeled ps1-15 ?

depending on the version you will find one next to the ba chip you replaced marked 50 if memory serves me correctly.

if you are refering to ps13 with a 30 on top of it on a v4, that checks good. I heard the other BA chip has something to do with dvd is that true ?>
