hi, i need two BA cd/dvd controller chips for a v7 gh-022 ps2 does any one know where i can get them from this is an urgent demand i live in london england... also just an question does the BA chip from a v3 work in v7 I've heard it does and i've heard it doesnt....cheers

as long as the number on the ba chips are the same, you can use one from another console.
try gamefreax.de they have them , i know for sure.
interestingly i have the same mobo as u (gh-022)
also burnt ba chip and burnt laser...
could this be a coincidence or somethings wrong with the gh-022...
I've been told this a problem that happens alot with the gh-022 ive e-mailed foundmy.com but yet to get an reply ill keep trying as they sell them quite cheap!!
I myself have ordered 5 and still have yet to recieve them from foundmy
