I just installed a DMS3 in my V4 PS2. It was my second attempt at an install and this time everything seems to have worked fine. The only thing is, when I put in an audio CD, it skips and freezes/repeats a lot. If I put the DMS in sleep mode, the audio CD plays fine. I upgraded to firmware 1.8 before trying a cd. I havent been able to test PSX games, PSX backups, or PS2 backups yet, but PS2 originals work fine when the chip is on and also when it's asleep. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Nevermind, I found out the answer. If anyone else wants to know, it's normal for the DMS3 to make audio cds skip. If it happens, that's a good sign that it is working right! To play audio cds normally, just hold the eject button to run in sleep mode.
(Thanks to Digga for sharing this info and KNETTER2000 for repeating it to me, both from DMS3 forums)
