Make sure you have the dongle inserted into memory slot two and boot the AR2 CD as normal (jut like a PS2 game). When the AR2 loads, just follow the on screen instructions. Also check the instruction booklet that came with the AR2 on how to select codes etc.

In one of my test reports on Apple mod, I covered the use of AR2/v2 (note v2) to boot various games. So there is no problem between the two.

So please, precisely describe what happens? Your boot sequence, the screen display, what are you trying to accomplish? with a backup game? etc.

Yeah, i probably should have gone into some more detail, but alas....

I boot the unit as normal. Put the AR disk in, turn the machine on, whatever. It comes up. I select the game....codes...start with codes...then it asks me to put in the disc and hit X. I do and it just sits there. Ideas?

Try waiting for the disc to initialze before selecting X. I have booted games with the Apple and a Gameshark v1.93 and it worked just fine.

Precisionmods and I have had many a spat on these forums about the barnding of Ultra-2 and how customers don't know what they are getting. Et voila.

Anyway, Precisionmods said that their mods are fully tested to work with everything and they guarantee that to their customers. So this is the time to invoke that guarantee. So far as I know they are honourable people unlike some.
