apple II mod chip and its specifications

well i tried doin a search and cant relly find anything that i'm lookin for so here goes:

whats with this apple II mod chip that people are talking about? is it closer to magic 3 or to the messiah 2 in terms of functions and stability. able to boot all games includin D9 and can the mod chip b switched off?

anyone of u who have tried this mod chip, any probs with games like Vice City, Kingdom Hearts and FFX?

I have installed a few of them..

No problems with vice city, Getaway and FFX
I don't have kingdom Hearts..so not sure about that one..

But imo is seems to be a stable and reliable chip..so i prefer it to the M3..

Try Xenosaga for a start (JAP). There aren't that many dvd9 games out there.
