Anyone use the Matrix MX4?

wuts difference really between MX4 And matrix inifnity .. ??

infinity has region free dvd and u can change stuff in the config.
the mx4 is basicly the same as any standed mod (eg. duo2se, magic) but automatic selection of mode and is flash upgradeble so that if new protections come than u will be able to play them with out patching the iso (eg. dl games, gt4 for eg).

So MX4 doesn't have a config screen, does that mean it doesn't have that Force PAL/NTSC option like the infinity?

Would you happen to know if it supports component video for the bootup screen or menus? For changing options in the DVD player menu if you want to play movies in progressive scan.

The MX4 does not force any video modes or allow booting from MC
It does remove the green screen and macrovision

It is a good solid chip which is autoboot on all medias

Although if you want slightly more advanced features go with the infinity, it is only a few quid more and has a shed load of features
