Anyone here experiencing any problems on the v7's with serial #'s starting with AU, using a Magic 3.1 chip?
What problem U have? My PS2 is modded with magic 3.1 and serial starts with AU. I only have one problem : when playing splinter cell, will go to red screen after I save and press continue. Already sent back to installer for a checkup.
One is having a problem playing original DVDs, which I think might be solved by switching W points. The other is having a problem booting in general, one minute it works fine, the next minute it doesn't.
That's what you get for buying a piece of crap Magic 3.1. Get a real chip......Messiah 2!
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem... was that reply really necessary?
F*CK*NG PEOPLE THESE DAYS!
It is a solution. The Magic chips are known to have problems such as booting on a consistant basis. Messiah 2 has none of these problems.
It's not a solution in this case... they don't want Messiahs they want Magic3. And telling me to change the chips to M2 doesn't SOLVE the problem with the Magic3s it simply puts it to the side.
I am sure they would want a Messiah 2 if they knew all the problems the Magic 3.1 has. Might want to inform them of this.
They had the option of either one... now the option is gone. If you don't have a REAL solution don't bother with a response.
It is a real solution and it's the best solution too.![]()
