Just need a basic idea of where the chip should go, so if anybody here has any photos of a successfully installed Infinity chip in a PAL V5 console, I'd appreciate them.

Never done a PAL, but NTSC v5 is the same. Chip should go on the side of the board that is "blank". Near where it says GH-015 or whatever version board that is.

    Hi,

I tried the place KidCanaray said but it didnt work.

Matrix infinity makes a lot of patching in the BIOS, its re-write it a lot of code

To avoid interference, the chip may be placed beetween the LA (the one which is at the bottom) and the BIOS so you have very short wires.

When I use that place, its works great!!

    Good Luck!

you might want to use 24 gauge wire (24AWG) for the GND, 3.3V and CLK (y) point. that resolves some issues...
