I've been trying to make a decision on what chip to go with in my PS2, and I think I've made up my mind. I was tempted to get the DUO3 Ultra, but I like the options you get with the DMS4 Pro. The only problem is finding the Pro. I can get a DMS4 Lite SE, but I'm not sure of the functionality difference between the Toxic OS vs. just the Toxic BIOS. I'm planning a hdd addition soon, so I'd like as many features as I can get (Integrated HDL support a plus).

Anyone know of any sites selling Pros that will ship to the US?

    Thanks.

Just to add my thoughts on DMS chips:
I bought a DMS4 SE PRO last year from the company in Monaco. It took forever to arrive (of course) and I tried to install it into a slim V14 a total of 6 different times with no success. I finally put it in the garage with all the other junk. A few weeks ago a friend of mine gave me his old fat PS2, a V8 I think. I had to try the chip again in it, and it worked the first time with no problems. I've heard many people complain about them, and I certainly did my share of cussing when it didn't work for me. I am now using Toxic OS 0.41 and think the features are great. I should get a network adapter in the mail any day now and can't wait to install Linux! Toxic offers it's own built in HD support and cheat system. I've only been using it for about a week now, but couldn't imagine using a PS2 without it.

I like the features of the dms, but I guess it really doesn't matter either way what I get as long as it works. I still can't find a retailer that will ship to the US (and has what I want in stock). It's either a DMS4, Crystal Chip, or Matrix Infinity. Whatever I find first.

Thanks for your suggestions guys, much appreciated.

crystal chip is the way to go, the MI team died off with v14, there is a fix to get MI's working on v15 and v16 units requiring a PNP transistor

Duo3 works very well though, I just like the features of the CC 1.2 and CC 2.0
