First of all! I have moded many ps2 slims all the 7xxx and 9xxx version
BUT now there is a new version of the 90004 with a mainboard that says gh-072-42.
I check the install diagrams wich looks like the one for 90006 (gh-072-42) If you check the Y point you can clearly see that the new version dont have soldier on the point like it had on the other 90006 gh-072-42 version.

I use modbo 4.0 or matrix infinity clone fw 1.99 wich has all worked fine for all other 7xxx and 9xxx series but not this brand new one ?? what is the problem ??

Bios seems to work fine cause when booting the ps2 it shows me the Matrix logo but it cannot play the backup discs. I tried on 3 different consoles and I checked the G,H,I point wich are the ones that controls the laser/dvd it is peferctly soldered and so on.... what is the problem ??

anyone pls need some help here !!

I did two PAL versions of GH072-42 yesterday. One with Duo3Ultra and one with
Modbo760 and both worked great. For the modbo760 I used this scheme.
