Any issues with Duo2Se and a V2 PS2?
Any issues with Duo2Se and a V2 PS2? –

Hey guys I'm going to mod a V2 PS2 and I decided to get the Duo2Se. Not only is it cheap, but it's far easier to install then the Messiah2's I did before ^^. What's nice is I no longer need to solder 9 wires onto the dvd chip, that was one hell of a pain!!! V1 and V2 are pretty much identical, only the bios solder points differ I think. However, the Duo2se Scex point is the same as the alt-scex point for the Messiah2. I have tested it on my V1 when installing my Messiah2 a long time back and it didn't work. As I can recall, that point passes through a resistor. Would be nice to not have to solder on the other side, which requires the desoldering of the 4 power connector pins in V1/2 PS2's, argh.
My question is, does the Duo2se work well with a V2 PS2 and is that Scex point proven to work?
