Any Dead Ozzy V9's?

Just wondering if there is any case in existence of a DEAD Australian V9 due to a DMS3 or any other chip for that matter? from reading the forums, it seesm that the problem is only evident in the UK?

I would like to know as well, hearing alot of PAL uk dying but what about us down-under are we safe like the NTSC??

crap didn't really wanna hear that

... now just tossnig up on whether I should install the DMS3 into my V9, or perhaps try and see if I can return it and wait until the V10's hit here?...

Just go with the DMS, you can stay on the cautious side while getting the better chip. Seems to be a win win situation.

I guess I should have asked, Moddy, of those 15 dead ones, did any have the DMS3 v9 chip in them?

or just go with the v10 and any mod

but if you want to risk a v9 to be precautious as nec says go with the dms3 because the fail rate seems to be alot lower then again the percentage of sales on other mods could be higher no one knows what safe at the min.

Entity, thats what i was thinking, that those with the M2 mods probably greatly made up the no. of modchips out there, and that not a lot of DMS3's were out there.. oh well I think I may just bite the bullet and see then, DM3 chip is still in transit on the way to me... justhope if it does blow I can pick up a V10 at $230AUD

dms3 is a might fine chip with a solid design install can be hairy but once its in its a champ.
as an advisory id opt for a v10 thats for sure.

As far as I know however, I'm not aware of any V10's in Oz yet, well at least in Perth that I've seen.. also they jacked up the price of the stupid ps2's after xmas, from $245 to $330 now

.. so if I was to refund and buy again I'd feel majorly ripped

....
