Hi, im going to do my first mod soon, havn't done much soldering but cop on to things fast and going to try on old computer parts first. Ive read all the posts and done myy research.
But im just wondering can someone post close up detailed pics of the different types of solders, like one of onto the legs, one onto a normal point, one onto the 3,3v thing. like one of each differnt types of points there are just so i can be 100% how to do each type.
Or if you have a full picture of the install (im going to be using the matrix infinity) in really high resolution so i can zoom in, then email it to the address below if its to big to upload

Thanks very much and soon hopefully ill be able to get my picture up on that modded page

You really need to tell us what version PS2 your going to mod. Especially since each version varies a little, and some quite a bit.
I'll try scanning a motherboard of the same version, but that's if I have one. I can't guarantee that I'll have exactly what you want, but I'll help if I can.

Look at the "Post pictures of your mods" thread in the PS2 modchips section.

Hi I've a version 4 pal, im not sure is it gapped or not(havnt opened it yet), I have all the install diagrams and have looked at the pictures please section (got some great ideas from the neat looking ones) but what im looking for is a stupidly close up picture of one of each diffent type of solder, like one close up of a solder to a pin, one of a solder to a reverse of a board (i know an infinity on a version 4 doesnt need it) but its different then the normal solders, but if it goes well im going to be modding 2-3 mates PS2's. So if i was looking at the install diagram the ... SCEX, 3.3V, GND, A, (one of the following u,t,v,q,r etc), (one of the following m,p,n,o) ... i think there all the differnt types of solder points.
Thanks very much,
Paul
