Why is the back of the chip able to be stuck like a sticker to something, and where am I supposed to place it?
I'm also assuming I need to soulder the wires onto the gold circles on the chip.because they all don't have holes to put the wire in.

ya you will need to solder wire to the chip and also to the ps2 mobo....i don't know if you are kidding when you said "I'm also assuming I need to soulder the wires onto the gold circles on the chip. because they all don't have holes to put the wire in."... but i guess this is your first time soldering something?...good luck...the solder points inside the ps2 is much smaller then the "gold circles " on the modchip
Thank you
But what is the sticky back used for?
hmm...so it will stick to the mobo when you place it near the place you want to solder
Thanks
Jack are you gonna install the modchip? cos i wouldnt recommend you do if you dont even know what the copper pads are for, get a pro to do it for you, cos it could end up nasty!
exacly my thoughts
come on guys,he has to start some where and why not duo? nothing wrong with experimenting
nothing wrong if you can afford to keep buying new PS2's to replace the dead ones!
Can I have your laser when you kill your ps2??![]()
