I think so because it has a scenix chip and it's more of an magic 3.1 clone then a messiah2 clone.

The chip is a fraud in Messiah 2 terms. It will work well enough as a Magic 3 clone (or something like that) but has no Messiah 2 code in it whatsoever. I think these people or Neoasic may be the originators. http://www.cyclonechip.com/messiah2.htm.

The owner of the-console-corner is aware of the fraudulent claim of the chip to be a Messiah 2 and has agreed to modify his description to reflect the fact that no code from hDL, designers of the Messiah 2 is present in the chip.

Incidentally they are $15 at Cyclone. So if you paid $39.95 you were truly taken. Sorry.

yup, they are clones. Just got response from seller. Uses the excuse that the manufacturer sells it to him as m2's, so he resells them as M2's. BULLSH!T i say.

Give him hassle. He needs it. I have a full e-mail exchange with him. He knows he's pushing a fraud because he more than doubled the price and changed his photo from the real Messiah 2 to the Fraud chip once he got it and saw that he too had been mugged - not for price but for description. From that point on, Filipiak should have put his own brand name on it and said "Hey - others are punting this fine chip as A Messiah2. Actually it's not - but it works brilliantly and is only $xx...". That sort of thing. But he isn't honest enough to do that.

I think It's not a messiah2 clone, coz' there is a Z point on the diagrams... And the cddvd diag is different.

ya, thanks for the support charlie. I have email him an extended complaint about the chips. But i can complain to much cause the chip should be arriving this monday. Gonna test them out and see how stable they are. It they are SH!T, then i'll do more complaining until he offers me a refund, highly doubt, or give me a better deal on the apple mini's that i have used in the past and doun't mind. But i was thinkin that if he turn out to be as bad as he is crooked, then i say that the whole forum flame him and put him on the rip off list of dealers. That should get word around and his business should drop a bit.
