another install problem. dms3 v1 installed but does nothing

everything is installed perfect, no ground bounce, but the chip isnt on, im certain, cause it boots sone game without a mode change, so there is no stealthmode to activate. but it acts as if its not installed. im looking for an alternative 3.3v point. PLEASE HELP, THANKS

you sure you just dont need a new laser unit?

well, he took out the dms3 chip to see if it was faulty, replaced it with anotherone, still no go. took it out and installed a duo2, nothing. he gave up and is sending me a premodded v4 with messiah 2.. 'tis the ps2 from hell.. at least it still works, just cant be modified
